# Behavly vs Sequenzy

> Sequenzy’s AI drafts flows from your website; Behavly Agent writes each follow-up at send time from one person’s own product activity. Features and prices.

Sequenzy and Behavly both use AI to email the users of a SaaS product, and both run flows built from emails, waits and branches. Where they split is the moment the AI writes and the material it writes from. Sequenzy’s AI reads your website and drafts emails or whole sequences up front; you approve them, and the flow sends what you approved. Behavly holds the writing until an email is due, then writes it for the single person getting it, based on what they actually did in your product.

A disclosure first: Behavly is our product. What we say about Sequenzy comes from sequenzy.com and its docs, read on October 31, 2026, with a link wherever a claim appears. What we say about Behavly comes from its Help Center.

#### Why teams pick Behavly over Sequenzy

- **One person per email, not one email per step.** When two users reach the same step, each gets a different email about their own activity. Sequenzy’s [AI sequences](https://www.sequenzy.com/features/ai-sequences) hand your team “a starting point” to edit, and the flow sends that version.
- **It sees what users do on your site.** A single script tag captures every signed-in user’s clicks, page views, scroll depth and pointer movement, and needs no identify call. Sequenzy works from the events you send it, and its [docs](https://docs.sequenzy.com/introduction) list no site tracking script.
- **Heatmaps down to one user.** Behavly shows where a single person clicked, where they got stuck and where they stopped scrolling, right beside the emails it writes them. Sequenzy’s pages list no heatmaps.
- **Each reader’s language, detected.** Behavly picks up the language of the person reading and writes in it, from 23. Sequenzy’s [localization](https://www.sequenzy.com/features/localization) stores a separate version of each email per locale.
- **Sent from your own mailbox.** Each one looks like a personal note, and a reply shows up beside the sender’s whole history on your site. Sequenzy sends through its own service, on your authenticated domain.
- **Describe a path in plain words.** Tell Behavly who it’s for and what each email needs to achieve, and it builds the steps: emails, waits and branches.

#### How we compared

We read Sequenzy’s homepage, pricing, feature pages and docs on October 31, 2026, and set each row against the matching Help Center article for Behavly. Where Sequenzy’s pages didn’t describe something, the table says so rather than guessing.

#### How Sequenzy works

[Sequenzy](https://www.sequenzy.com/) is an AI-native email marketing tool for SaaS. Enter your website and it reads your logo, colors, product and tone, then drafts the emails you ask for: a launch, a newsletter or a whole onboarding flow, with subject lines. You change them by hand or ask the AI to, and nothing sends until you approve.

Flows start on a signup, a Stripe event or an API call, and can send email, SMS or push. Segments update from plan, MRR, usage, events and engagement, and each payment is credited to the last email the customer opened or clicked. Transactional email runs from the same account, and an AI agent can operate all of it through the remote MCP server.

#### How Behavly works

Where Sequenzy starts by reading your website, Behavly starts by recording what your users do. A single script tag goes on your site and in your signed-in app. Behavly reads the session to know who is signed in, so you never wire up an identify call, and it gathers each person’s actions into one profile that follows them from device to device. If you want specific product actions, `behavly.track` adds them, and your backend can report events such as a failed payment through `send_event`.

Next comes the audience. Pick a group Behavly spotted in that activity, or write the group in plain words and check the people who match before saving it. Describe the path you want, and Behavly arranges the steps. A path runs once, stays on for each new person who joins the group, or fires whenever your product sends an event.

Here the order flips. With Sequenzy, the email is written and approved before the flow is switched on; Behavly writes last. Once a person arrives at an email step, Behavly reads each earlier email on the path, checks whether they opened or clicked it, and then writes this one from their activity. If the recipient uses a business address, it can also read their company’s public website. The finished email leaves from your own mailbox, and any reply returns to Behavly’s inbox.

_Every reply comes into one inbox, where **Reply with Behavly** writes a draft answer using the thread and what the sender did._

#### Where Behavly is ahead

- **A new email every time.** Sequenzy sends the version you approved for each step, and a stored version per locale. Behavly writes a new email for each person, in their language, every time one sends.
- **No event plan needed for detail.** Sequenzy works from the events you choose to send it. Behavly gets clicks, page views and scroll depth from its one script tag, so a path can branch on which pages a person has visited.
- **Every email remembers the ones before it.** Behavly reads what the path has already sent and how each email landed, so the next one moves the conversation on rather than saying the same thing again.
- **A path that tests itself.** **Test** sends every email on the path, written for one real person, to your own inbox at once. Every Monday, once a campaign has sent 20 emails, a path review suggests what to change.
- **Mail that looks personal.** Behavly sends from a real mailbox, so each email reads as a note from one person to another, and replies arrive alongside the sender’s activity.

#### What you pay for

Sequenzy charges for the emails you send each month, with unlimited contacts: free up to 2,500 emails, then from $19 a month for 15,000. Behavly prices by tracked contacts instead. Each plan comes with a set number of personalized emails a month, written by Behavly for each person, so the writing comes with the plan rather than costing your team hours. Template emails are unlimited on every plan, and so are always-on and Trigger Campaigns.

| Plan | Price | Personalized emails a month | Tracked contacts | Behavior data kept |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0 | 50 | 100 | 30 days |
| Starter | $79/month | 2,000 | 2,500 | 90 days |
| Growth | $249/month | 8,000 | 10,000 | 180 days |
| Scale | $699/month | 30,000 | 40,000 | 365 days |

#### Moving over from Sequenzy

- **Start with the snippet.** Install Behavly’s script on your signed-in pages a couple of weeks before you switch, so there is activity for the first emails to draw on.
- **Bring your subscribers over.** Load them into Behavly from a CSV, and each person starts collecting activity on their next visit.
- **Rebuild flows in words.** Sum up each Sequenzy flow in a sentence, let Behavly turn it into a path, and use **Preview** to read one step as a real user would get it.
- **Point your backend events at Behavly.** Moments like a failed payment start a Trigger Campaign through `send_event`.
- **List what Sequenzy sends today.** Flows, newsletters and receipts may all run from it. Give each one a home before you turn it off.

## Questions

### How does Behavly’s price compare with Sequenzy?

They charge for different things. Sequenzy charges per email sent, with unlimited contacts: free for 2,500 emails a month, then from $19 a month for 15,000. Behavly charges on tracked contacts, and each plan includes the emails Behavly writes for each person: the Free plan covers 100 tracked contacts with 50 personalized emails a month, and Starter is $79 for 2,500 contacts. Template emails are unlimited on every Behavly plan.

### Does Sequenzy write a different email for each person?

Sequenzy’s pages, checked October 31, 2026, describe AI that drafts emails and sequences from your website for your team to edit and approve, and flows that send the approved version. Behavly instead writes each Behavly Agent email when it sends, for the single person it’s going to, using that person’s own activity.

### What does Behavly need to start?

Just one script tag, on your site and in your signed-in app. From there it captures each signed-in user’s activity without an identify call or an event schema. Later, if you like, `behavly.track` adds product actions and `send_event` brings in events from your backend.

### Can Behavly write to each user in their own language?

It does. Behavly works out which language each person reads and writes their email in it, choosing from 23, so there is nothing to translate. Sequenzy stores a localized version of each email per locale and picks one from a subscriber attribute.

### Can I run Behavly from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Behavly’s MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Cursor and other AI apps to your workspace, on every plan. Deleting something or sending email to real people still waits for your approval in Behavly.
