# Approval: Read This One

> Approval is on by default and holds every generated email until you read it. What happens if you turn it off.

The Schedule step has an **Approval** toggle, and it is **on by default**.

#### With Approval On

Every generated email waits for you. The campaign sits in a `review` state and sends nothing until you approve. Campaigns waiting on approval also appear in **Notifications**, so one does not sit forgotten.

#### With Approval Off

> Warning: Emails send without that step. On a campaign where Behavly writes per-recipient copy, turning approval off means the first time you read an email is after your customer did. Leave it on until you have seen enough output from a given campaign shape to trust it.

#### Approving

Open the campaign and work through the generated emails. You are reading real, final copy addressed to real people — not a template preview.
