# Lead Statuses

A thread with no status yet shows as `Lead`.

> Note: `Lead` means **untriaged**. It is not a status you assigned and it does not mean Behavly judged the thread — it is the absence of a decision, shown as a word instead of a blank.

Statuses are editable from **Manage statuses**. Custom lead statuses are a paid-plan feature.
